COOKIE'S BEST TOURNAMENT (October 22, 2011)
This tournament is for the best regular fall season teams in the regions included within Area 2F: Bishop, Carson City, Carson Valley, Incline Village, Lone Pine, Mammoth, North Lake Tahoe, Smith Valley, South Lake Tahoe, and Truckee. The tournament is held in Carson City at the Edmonds Sports Complex.
Region 140 (Carson City) selects one regular fall season team in each of the following age groups: U10 boys, U10 girls, U12 boys, U12 girls, U15 boys, and U15 girls. The region selects the best team in each division based on a combination of factors that includes win-loss record, sportsmanship, and volunteerism.
Coaches and assistant coaches for the selected teams must have the age-specific certification for the division (U10 = U10 Certified; U12 = U12 Certified; U15 = Intermediate Certified).
AREA 2F KIT CARSON ALL-STAR SHOOTOUT (November 5-6, 2011)
This tournament is for all-star teams selected by the regions included within Area 2F: Bishop, Carson City, Carson Valley, Incline Village, Lone Pine, Mammoth, North Lake Tahoe, Smith Valley, South Lake Tahoe, and Truckee. The purpose of this tournament is to provide an interregional competitive, friendly end of seaon tournament for teams composed by regional selection of players in Section 2, Area F. The tournament is held in Carson City at the Edmonds Sports Complex.
Region 140 (Carson City) selects players from regular fall season teams to make up all-star teams in the following age groups: U10 boys, U10 girls, U12 boys, U12 girls, U15 boys, U15 girls, and U19 coed. The region may send an "A" and "B" team in each group.
Coaches and assistant coaches for the all-star teams must have the age-specific certification for the division (U10 = U10 Certified; U12 = U12 Certified; U15 = Intermediate Certified; U19 = Advanced Certified).
